Starting from the wood core, the new skis use stiffer Beech underfoot for added power and stability. The tip and tail have Poplar and Paulownia to keep the swing weight low and allow for smooth flex in and out of turns. The metal has been modified to a fork shape that wraps around the edges of the tip and tail that adds stability in variable snow.
