From late Summer to early winter it produces pink feathery plumes that turn to white when they mature. Once the foliage dries out it turns to a light tan color. Adagio provides great texture and interest with its very narrow striking silver grey foliage. In late Summer to early winter this grass produces pink feathery plumes that mature to white. The foliage dry out and turn to a light tan color that can be left along with the plumes to provide interest in the landscape during winter. In spring the foliage should be trimmed to the ground before new growth appears. Right after trimming is the ideal time to divide Adagio if desired.
