- This package includes 7 catheters – each catheter is a single-use, daily disposable product (one per day). If the patient requires more, additional purchases are necessary, priced at $65 for 10 catheters, or $180 for 30 catheters.
- The pump only works when urine enters the catheter. If there is no urine in catheter, the pump will stay quiet.
- Once urine comes in contact with the sensor of the catheter, the pump will start automatically. The pump will make a humming sound if it works.
- The device is intended for non-invasive urine output management, for conditions where the female is bedridden or elderly and cannot make frequent trips to the restroom.
- This system is to be used exclusively with External Catheters. The device pulls urine through tubing that is connected to a collection canister. Urine is stored in the collection canister for proper disposal. This product may be used in both home environments and professional care facilities.
