Blend of Straight Bourbon Whiskey and Rye Whiskey
55.3% ABV - 110.6 Proof
Shortbarrel Double Oaked Bourye represents a bold fusion of bourbon and rye traditions, crafted to deliver complexity and character in every pour. This straight whiskey blend combines the smooth, vanilla-forward notes typical of bourbon with the spicy, peppery undertones that rye brings to the palate.
At 110.6 proof, this spirit commands respect. The higher alcohol content amplifies the wood influence and creates a fuller mouthfeel, allowing the double-oaked maturation process to shine through with layers of caramel, oak, and subtle spice. The double-oaked approach—aging in two separate oak environments—intensifies vanilla, toffee, and toasted grain flavors while maintaining balance. This technique extracts deeper wood character without overwhelming the underlying whiskey profile, resulting in a spirit that's both approachable and sophisticated.
Perfect for collectors seeking something beyond standard bourbon or rye, and for enthusiasts who appreciate the craftsmanship of blended straight whiskeys.
