TrueClot Wound Packing Task Trainer with Dark Skin Tone (Large Caliber GSW)

TrueClot Task Trainers are designed to simulate wound packing and demonstrate the use of advanced hemostatic gauzes with LUNA'sTrueClot Clotting Blood Simulant. The simulated large caliber gunshot wound can be packed with LUNA's Simulated Hemostatic Gauze while flowing TrueClot Blood Simulant is pumped into the wound using the attached 1 liter squeeze bottle. Realistic simulated blood clots form on the gauze and flow from the wound when the gauze and blood simulant come in contact. Unlike the Laceration and Small Caliber Gunshot Wound models, this Task Trainer includes a hard plastic simulated bone inside the wound. The bone insert has a simulated fracture/defect and can be easily removed for cleaning. TrueClot Task Trainers are an excellent way to introduce your trainees and students to realistic hemorrhage control for TCCC, TECC, TEMS, PHTLS, and general wound packing techniques for advanced hemostatic gauze training.
